How do I use hypochlorous acid to disinfect the eyes?

Hypochlorous acid, used for eye care, usually comes in a spray bottle. You can spray it directly on the eyelashes with closed eyes or you can spray it on a cotton pad and then gently place it along the eyelashes and the edge of the eyelid.
